On Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 7pm the community is invited to hear from Dr. Diego Lirman, Associate Professor at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, as part of the Key Biscayne Citizen Scientist Project, a program working to preserve the natural resources of Key Biscayne.
Dr. Lirman’s research emphasis is on the disturbance ecology of coastal ecosystems. His research is presently focused on developing a better understanding of the potential effects of changes in hydrology, water quality, and exploitation levels on coastal communities of South Florida.
